Job summary

DCS Corp in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking a Network Administrator to maintain and monitor the organization’s IT network, assisting Sr. Network Engineers with upgrades and maintenance. The role emphasizes security, performance, and effective collaboration across teams.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, possess a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one, and be willing to work on-site with after-hours support. Experience with Cisco routers/switches and Windows is essential.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• High school diploma or GED plus 10 years of experience or AA/AS/Technical school plus 4 years of experience.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance with a T5 investigation.
• On-site work; this position is not remote.
• Experience with Cisco products including routers, switches, wireless.
• Windows OS and Security+ within 6 months of start date.
• Willing to work after hours/weekend support for patches and maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with outside agencies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks to ensure security and performance.
• Analyze, isolate, and resolve network, data, and wireless issues.
• Use approved configuration management (STIGS) when configuring networking equipment.
• Run cable and setup new ports.
• Maintain network infrastructure, routers, switches, iOS updates and patches.
• Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, VLANs, Internet, and intranet.
• Upgrade, install and troubleshoot networks, hardware devices and software.
• Serve as primary support for outages and emergent IT situations.
• Maintain inventory and documentation of network configurations.
• Recommend and schedule repairs to the LAN/WAN.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals/projects.
• Provide implementation support for projects and new services.
