Job summary
Saalex is seeking a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator in Ridgecrest, CA to support the design, implementation, security, and sustainment of enterprise network and computing environments. The selected candidate will serve as a technical lead for network infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, systems administration, and modernization initiatives supporting mission-critical operations.
The role is a full-time onsite position in Ridgecrest, CA with a salary range of $105k-$120k
Qualifications
- Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network solutions.
- Experience supporting WAN, BAN, and LAN environments.
- Experience administering routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Experience with system hardening, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise network and computer systems.
- Support WAN, BAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructure.
- Lead network modernization, upgrades, patching, firmware updates, and infrastructure sustainment activities.
- Implement network security controls, system hardening, STIG compliance, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and configuration baselines.
- Support cybersecurity audits, compliance requirements, and Government-directed security controls.
- Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and customer stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve system performance.
