Saalex in Ridgecrest, CA seeks a Sr. Network & Systems Administrator to design, implement, secure, and sustain enterprise networks and computing environments. You will lead network infrastructure efforts, ensure cybersecurity compliance, and support modernization for mission-critical operations.

The role requires TS clearance, or eligibility, and offers a challenging environment with hands-on leadership in a DoD/Federal context.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and computer systems.
• Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network solutions.
• Experience supporting WAN, BAN, and LAN environments.
• Experience administering routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless network technologies.
• Experience with system hardening, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, patching, firmware updates, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, network security, and enterprise infrastructure sustainment.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership within a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise network and computer systems.
• Support WAN, BAN, LAN, and wireless infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Lead network modernization, upgrades, patching, firmware updates, and sustainment activities.
• Implement network security controls, system hardening, STIG compliance, and remediation efforts.
• Maintain system documentation, diagrams, and baselines.
• Support cybersecurity audits and government security controls.
• Collaborate with engineers, cybersecurity personnel, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
