Job summary

Sandia Area Federal Credit Union is seeking a Network Administrator I to maintain and secure the credit union’s network infrastructure. You will monitor performance, assist with servers and core systems, and implement security controls under guidance.

This full-time role requires collaboration with the IT team and adherence to regulatory requirements. The position emphasizes professional development, a strong service ethic, and reliability, with schedules Monday–Friday and occasional weekend

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• CompTIA Network+ certification is required.
• CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.
• Fortinet/Extreme Networks experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the Credit Union's local and wide area network needs.
• Monitor network utilization and security; document changes.
• Work with IT team on servers, patching, and core systems.
• Ensure security objectives and compliance are met.
