Job summary

Sandia Area Federal Credit Union in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Network Administrator I to maintain and secure the local and wide area networks, reporting to the Network Administrator Lead to support core IT operations for members and staff.

You will document changes, monitor security, collaborate with vendors, and assist with server/core systems projects while providing reliable, high-quality service in a full-time, day-shift role with occasional weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA Network+ certification required.
• CCNA/CCNP preferred; experience with financial networks a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the Credit Union's local and wide area network needs.
• Document changes and maintain current network topology.
• Assist in improving network security and meet security objectives.
• Monitor network utilization and performance; report issues promptly.
• Work with contracted vendors to resolve network issues and track assets.
