Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in network or systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and VLANs.
  • Experience with network automation, monitoring, and management tools.
  • Proficiency in network security measures including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users and work with ITS teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructure.
  • Monitor network performance, identify issues, and optimize reliability.
  • Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Implement security controls and ensure policy compliance.
  • Document configurations and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with ITS teams and vendors on projects and outages.
