Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Madison, WI is seeking a Leasing Consultant for multifamily communities. In this role you will work with onsite management to welcome prospects, tour property, explain amenities, and showcase the lifestyle of our apartments.

You will qualify applicants, coordinate background checks, ensure units are ready for move-in, and provide outstanding resident service to support high occupancy and rent growth. A High School diploma and 1+ year related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Ability to use basic Windows software.

Responsibilities

• Tour the property with prospects to answer questions about amenities and grounds.
• Highlight the quality of the community and lifestyle of an apartment home to drive sales.
• Assist prospects in qualifying for an apartment by collecting information and initiating background checks.
• Ensure apartments are prepared for move-in.
• Deliver unmatched service to residents to exceed expectations and maintain retention.
• Coordinate paperwork related to apartment home rentals and perform office tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
