Job summary

Structor Construction, LLC is hiring a Multifamily Assistant Superintendent on-site in Abilene, TX. You will work under a Superintendent, taking ownership of scopes and phases while building toward full site authority. This development role provides direct mentorship and progressively larger responsibilities.

Responsibilities include daily activity oversight, logs and reports, safety inspections, QA/QC, logistics, and daily crew huddles to ensure schedule progress and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction field experience, including lead or foreman time.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and details.
• OSHA 30-Hour (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily activities for assigned trades, areas, or phases.
• Complete logs, field reports, and superintendent deliverables.
• Conduct safety inspections and stop unsafe work.
• Perform QA/QC inspections and document deficiencies.
• Coordinate deliveries, laydown, hoisting, and site logistics.
• Lead daily huddles for crews and trade partners.
• Track and report schedule progress to catch impacts early.
