Job summary

Structor Construction is hiring an Assistant Superintendent to work under a superintendent, taking ownership of assigned scopes and areas while building toward full site authority at our Frisco, TX facility. This development role includes mentorship and progressively larger scope as you gain experience.

You will assist daily activity for trades, complete logs and reports, conduct safety inspections, and lead crews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction field experience, including lead or foreman time.
• Degree in construction science, construction management, or engineering — or equivalent hands-on experience
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and details
• OSHA 30-Hour, or willingness to obtain within 90 days
• First Aid/CPR, or willingness to obtain
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Assist Direct daily activity for your assigned trades, areas, or phases
• Complete daily logs, field reports, and superintendent deliverables
• Conduct safety inspections in your area — and stop work that doesn't meet standard
• Perform QA/QC inspections and document deficiencies through correction
• Coordinate deliveries, laydown, hoisting, and site logistics
• Lead daily huddles for your crews and trade partners
• Track and report schedule progress so impacts get caught early
