Job summary

DP Gayatri, a Minneapolis-area industrial holding company, seeks a detail-oriented bookkeeper. You will manage AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and data entry across several companies using QuickBooks Enterprise, with oversight by the CEO.

The role splits time between Plymouth and Anoka sites and offers a flexible arrangement (contractor, part-time, or full-time). Responsibilities include preparing payroll for review, maintaining separate company books, and reporting weekly AP/AR aging.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience including AP/AR and monthly reconciliations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise; ability to manage multi-company books.
• Discretion with payroll and confidential financial data; trustworthy and organized.
• Willing to sign confidentiality agreement and complete a background check.
• Reliable transportation to travel to Anoka, MN; mileage reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Process AP for multiple companies: enter bills, match to POs, schedule payments.
• Process AR: invoice customers, apply payments, track aging, follow up on past-due.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly; code transactions and receipts.
• Maintain separate ledgers per company; produce weekly AP/AR aging reports.
• Back up corporate bookkeeper and assist payroll preparation for review.
• Support setup of new company books and assist with admin tasks.
