Job summary

Talentify in Illinois is seeking an onsite MRO procurement specialist to support purchasing and service orders at the Lake County site. You will manage requisitions from MRO systems through PO fulfillment and act as a liaison among service providers, customers, and the organization.

The role requires strong data entry, inventory control, and collaborative problem solving with the MRO team. Proficiency in Excel, Maximo, SAP-SRM/S4HANA, Smartsheet, cVend, and Cognos is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of experience in inventory management or related fields.
• Experience with MRO, warehouse, purchasing, data entry, or data analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and review maintenance stock standardization requests (MSSR).
• Support internal customers with systems, materials, or services not in MSA-SOW.
• Provide technical support to the MRO team using procurement systems and analytics.
• Coordinate with customers, purchasing, and vendors to balance costs and needs.
• Monitor, expedite orders, and analyze data for planning and sourcing decisions.
• Collaborate on MRO issues and resolve payable inquiries.
• Implement corrective actions to reconcile inventory errors.
• Identify process improvements for better customer service.
