Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Houston seeks a WCE Field Specialist to deliver on-site Managed Pressure Drilling services. You will take single-point responsibility for MPD operations and ensure compliance with program limits and equipment specifications.

You will lead rig-up/rig-down of MPD equipment, monitor real-time drilling data, report deviations, and maintain charts and records for performance. National and international travel on extended rotations is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in drilling, MPD, or related oilfield operations.
• Hands-on MPD experience with rig-up/rig-down, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of drilling parameters and well-control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Take on-site responsibility for MPD service delivery to the client.
• Ensure operations comply with MPD Program limits and equipment specifications.
• Communicate deviations to Drilling Engineer, Engineering Coordinator or Project Manager.
• Review MPD Program content for validity and accuracy.
• Lead equipment rig-up per P&ID and DPM Equipment Layout.
• Monitor real-time drilling data and identify events such as influx or losses.
• Maintain charts and reports for MPD operations and equipment performance.
• Travel nationally and internationally for extended rig-site rotations.
