Job summary

Entrion Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced MPD Engineer for a project-based subcontractor role. The candidate will drive MPD methodologies and provide expert on-site support.

The role requires a Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering background with 5+ years in drilling/MPD, strong client-facing communication, and hands-on hydraulics modeling experience to support project execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of drilling/MPD experience.
• Strong knowledge of MPD operations, wellbore hydraulics, and well control.
• Experience with MPD hydraulic modeling/simulation software.

We are seeking an experienced Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Engineer for a project-based subcontractor position located in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MPD hydraulics, ECD/ESD, SBP, surge/swab, and operational simulations.
• Develop MPD programs, operating matrices, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Review MPD equipment requirements, P&IDs, and system configurations.
• Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, risk assessments, and project planning.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.

Requirements:
