Job summary

Schlumberger Limited seeks a WEC Drilling Engineer to assist PSD with delivering safe, efficient and reliable service. You will develop optimized technical job designs, identify improvements, and support the Product Line in risk management while providing real-time field support.

Travel and field work are expected, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Entry-level engineers with a broad engineering background will contribute to incident response, design changes, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required and 0–3 years of relevant field, technical, or engineering experience.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules, including extended rotations when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical job designs for the Product Line.
• Identify areas for cost-effective techniques and improvements.
• Explore value-added products and services.
• Provide technical support across the service delivery process.
• Communicate the value of technology and interpretations clearly.
• Consult with SMEs to optimize design.
• Support design changes during execution due to changes in scope.
• Assist in incident response, investigation and recovery.
• Collaborate across Product Line operations on optimized designs.
• Assist sales in evaluating technical viability and tenders.
• Analyze job execution vs design and capture improvements.
