Job summary

Entrion Inc. is seeking an experienced MPD Project Engineer for a Houston-based project. The role focuses on consulting and subcontractor engagement to support MPD project engineering, planning, and execution.

Responsibilities include MPD hydraulics, simulations, program development, equipment reviews, and active client participation in reviews and risk assessments, with strong emphasis on technical support through project execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related).
• 5+ years of drilling/MPD experience.
• Strong knowledge of MPD operations, wellbore hydraulics, and well control.
• Experience with MPD hydraulic modeling/simulation software.
• Strong technical, communication, and client-facing skills.

We are seeking an experienced Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Engineer for a project-based subcontractor position located in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

• Support MPD project engineering, planning, and execution.
• Perform MPD hydraulics, ECD/ESD, SBP, surge/swab, and operational simulations.
• Develop MPD programs, operating matrices, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Review MPD equipment requirements, P&IDs, and system configurations.
• Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, risk assessments, and project planning.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Petroleum, Mechanical, or related discipline).
• 5+ years of drilling/MPD experience.
