Job summary

Beyond Energy Services and Technology seeks a MPD Field Engineer to set up and operate MPD equipment at the rig site, providing engineering support with guidance from office-based MPD engineers.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical diploma and 0-2+ years of MPD or drilling-related experience. Travel to client sites and ongoing on-site support are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field is required.
• 0-2+ years of MPD or engineering experience in drilling.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
• Well Control, First Aid, and safety tickets are required.
• Drilling and Completion field experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MPD equipment at the rig site with guidance from MPD engineer.
• Provide engineering support and help model wellbore hydraulics for MPD operations.
• Interface with client engineers, company men, and third-party services on site.
• Monitor real-time MPD operations and update field reports and engineering analyses.
• Assist in identifying appropriate MPD equipment and operations per client parameters.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
• Participate in after-action reviews and produce end-of-well reports.
• Travel to customer locations and provide field support as needed.
