Job summary

Mercury Systems in Torrance, CA, is seeking an Intermediate Micro-Electronics Assembler to join the Operations group. This on-site role requires hands-on work assembling electro-mechanical products and ensuring quality in a fast-paced production environment.

You will learn Mercury's product lines, adhere to ISO9001/AS9100, and work to meet production schedules. 2-5 years' experience, soldering IPC J-STD-001, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–5 years of related experience.
• Soldering certification to IPC J-STD-001 is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of shipment preparations for electrical/mechanical products.
• Prepares completed assemblies for final inspections by studying instructions and blueprints.
• Prepares products for shipment per Mil-Standard.
• Meets/exceeds production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintains logs, paperwork, and forms per policy.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Summary

Mercury Systems specializes in secure mission-critical technology for the military and defense. Weare seeking anIntermediate Micro-Electronics Assemblerforour Operations group. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on get-it-done individual to contribute to thecorporation's future growth. This position is onsite in Torrance, CA.

In this role of Micro Electronic Assembler, you have the opportunity to:

Learn and understand Mercury's product lines as it pertains to operations. Become a member of a growing manufacturing group that specializes in electro-mechanical assemblies. Build upon basic understandings of the overall products and of electro-mechanical hardware. Maintain company policies and adhere to ISO9001/AS9100 quality requirements in production coordination efforts.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of shipment preparations for electrical/mechanical products.
• Prepares completed Assemblies for Final inspections by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and routers.
• Prepares Products for shipment per Mil-Standard.
• Must continuously meet/exceed production schedules and deadlines according to quality standards.
• Maintainlogs,paperwork, and forms accurately consistent with company policy and practices.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Typically requires 2-5 years of experience
• Solder Certification to IPC J-STD-001
• High School Diploma/GED
• Familiarity with PC software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to multitask and to execute under pressure
• Good Communication skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability are preferred
