Job summary

Pace Analytical in Oakdale, MN is seeking a full-time onsite Microbiology Scientist 1 to provide analysis and oversight of microbiology programs, ensuring adherence to SOPs, GLP, and GMP.

You'll perform and supervise analyses using HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and FTIR, contribute to method development, and support early development through manufacturing processes, with a 60k–70k annual salary. Regular schedule applies, onsite work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology or related field with 2–3 years of experience.
• Experience with specialized or technical programs or operations.
• Knowledge of SOPs, regulatory guidelines (GLP, GMP).
• Ability to operate and train others on analytical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Provides complex to specialized microbiology analysis using standard methods.
• Reviews and interprets testing results and communicates findings to management/clients.
• Provides training on analytical tests and instrumentation.
• Ensures compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements across activities.
• Participates in method development and transfer for early-stage programs.
