Job summary

Pace Life Sciences in Oakdale, MN is seeking a Scientist III, Analytical Chemistry. This onsite role focuses on complex analytical testing, method development and validation to support pharmaceutical development in a GxP-regulated laboratory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• 8-10 years of relevant, GxP-regulated laboratory experience.
• Hands-on with HPLC, UPLC, GC, GC-MS, and LC-MS.
• Strong GLP, GMP, or GxP guidance in a lab setting.
• Experience with analytical method development, optimization, and validation.
• Proficiency in data analysis, chromatographic interpretation, troubleshooting, and technical report writing.
• Familiarity with LIMS and related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analytical testing using HPLC/UPLC/LC-MS and other techniques per SOPs and GxP.
• Lead analytical method development, optimization, and validation.
• Analyze and interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and prepare technical reports.
• Document procedures, observations, results, deviations, and investigations.
• Lead OOS/OOT investigations and support CAPAs.
• Author, review, and revise test methods, validation protocols, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with project teams and quality partners to meet client expectations.
• Follow safety, GxP standards, and internal quality policies.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior staff.
