Job summary

Harbinger is seeking an IT & MES Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support on the factory floor, ensuring MES applications and production devices stay operational. This onsite, first-shift role is ideal for an early-career IT professional who enjoys troubleshooting and working directly with end users.

You will collaborate with production teams, engineers, maintenance, and senior IT staff to resolve issues, identify recurring problems, and support improvements to the manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows 10/11, PC hardware, and general IT troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills for fast-paced production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support to operators, supervisors, and production teams for MES and factory-floor tech.
• Troubleshoot, configure, repair, and deploy IT hardware including workstations, tablets, barcode scanners, printers and thin clients.
• Diagnose Windows, hardware, application, and network issues; escalate complex problems as needed.
• Create, triage, and resolve support tickets with documented steps and resolutions.
• Collaborate with process engineering, quality, maintenance, and IT to test MES configurations.
• Perform routine IT administration and basic Active Directory tasks.
