Job summary

Nextpower in Mesa, AZ seeks a Senior Manager, MES & Manufacturing IT to own site-level IT from MES commissioning to steady-state operations.

You will work hands-on on the shop floor with operators and vendors, coordinating with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP integration and with Security/Infrastructure teams to safeguard the OT environment.

You will partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality to ensure traceability and NPI readiness, while maintaining documentation and asset inventory on site.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT roles within a manufacturing environment with end-to-end MES ownership.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Hands-on experience configuring and supporting a modern MES platform — 42Q, Critical Manufacturing, Plex, Tulip, Aegis FactoryLogix, or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of shop floor integration: OPC-UA / MQTT awareness, PLC connectivity at the integration level.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level MES selection, commissioning, go-live, and steady-state operations.
• Design, deploy, and operate the site network and OT security posture.
• Day-to-day IT operations: on-floor support, helpdesk, and access management.
• Collaborate with ERP, End User Services, Infrastructure, and Security on integrations and identity management.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, network diagrams, and asset inventory.
