Job summary

Consertus seeks an experienced MEP Owner's Representative to support construction-phase services for a major research-intensive higher-education building program in New Haven, CT. This onsite, full-time role covers design review, RFIs, submittal evaluation, coordination-model and clash-detection review, and commissioning through closeout.

The role requires 15+ years of MEP experience and owner-design-review capabilities; PE license in CT or transferable is preferred; sustainability experience is

Qualifications

• 15+ years of MEP experience on research-intensive facilities.
• Experience as an owner's design reviewer.
• Experience with cleanroom/nanofabrication suites and cryogenic labs.
• Experience with EMI and vibration-sensitive imaging environments.
• PE license in CT or NCEES-transferable preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review submittals and shop drawings for MEP systems.
• Evaluate RFIs related to MEP design and coordination.
• Review coordination models and perform clash-detection analysis.
• Support value engineering and constructability review efforts.
• Review equipment placement for compliance with design intent and owner requirements.
• Oversee commissioning activities through project closeout.
