Job summary

The Cancer Center of Kansas (CCK) in Manhattan, KS is seeking a full-time, on-site Scheduler to join our team. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with no major holidays, no on-call, and no weekends.

Under supervision, this role schedules patient orders and appointments, answers calls, and acts as a liaison between patients and medical staff. We offer comprehensive benefits through the US Oncology Network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years office experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD10 codes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls and messages and assess priority.
• Efficiently schedules patients in the computer system per guidelines.
• Keep patient accounts up to date with demographics and records.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA laws.
• Coordinate pre-certifications or authorizations as required.
• Support front office and other clinic staff as needed.
