Job summary

TriHealth’s TPP Gastroenterology team seeks a Scheduling Coordinator and Medical Assistant to coordinate appointments and support providers with hands-on care. The role is fully on-site in the Cincinnati area, with call-center responsibilities and a strong medical background required.

The position is full-time, day shift, with no weekends or on-call commitments. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Degree in Healthcare is required.
• Clerical background with general computer skills and knowledge in medical terminology.
• EKG
• Injections
• Venipuncture
• Performance of common lab tests according to CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy.
• Experience in medical/physician office setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical duties, interprets scheduling requests and maintains medical records.
• Schedules participants across multiple departments and sites.
• Follows scheduling procedures and completes paperwork accurately and timely.
• Communicates with customers and other departments.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and professional etiquette.
• Assists in coordinating patient flow and preparing treatment rooms.
