Job summary

Amazon in Pontiac, MI is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative to join the Workplace Health & Safety team. You will assess and administer first aid, guide associates on injuries, and coordinate care with external providers. The role emphasizes safety education, OSHA compliance, and active participation in safety committees.

You will work with site leaders to ensure timely care, maintain records, and support emergency response while complying with company benefits and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• BLS certification and EMT/Paramedic options required.
• Athletic Trainer certification or teaching first aid, CPR, AED training preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital recordkeeping.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers’ Compensation.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program and ergonomics coaching.
• Military combat medic or healthcare experience within last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness, education, and coaching on safe practices.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on safety and operations floor.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean working environment.
• Participate in training for CPR and AED certifications.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response on site.
