Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to join the Workplace Health & Safety team at a Hazle Township, PA site. You will work with the WHS Site Manager and specialists to assess and administer first aid, guide associates on injuries, and refer to external providers as needed.

The role requires BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certification, accurate recordkeeping, and flexibility to work day/night shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification is required (or Athletic Trainer Certification).
• First aid, CPR, and AED training certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates (AAs).
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach on observed at-risk work habits with associates and leadership.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean work environment.
• Support training for first aid, CPR, and AED certifications.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification

Athletic Trainer Certification
