Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to join the Workplace Health & Safety team in Carencro, LA. You will provide first aid, guide care, and coordinate workers’ compensation while engaging with associates and leadership on safe work habits.

The role requires BLS, EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certifications, and the ability to teach first aid/CPR/AED courses. Flexible shifts and on-site operations are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Must obtain First Aid, CPR, AED certification within 3 weeks of start date.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid BLS certification; EMT or Paramedic; OR Athletic Trainer certification.
• Certified to teach First Aid, CPR, AED training by AHA or Red Cross.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with an industrial wellness program; OSHA/Workers' Comp knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize AA injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to AAs.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for AAs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership on the floor to coach on safe habits.
• Maintain a clean environment and medical supply inventory.
• Assist with first aid, CPR and AED certifications.
• Support on-site emergency response and variable shifts.
