Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) in Katy, TX. You will work with the WHS team to provide first aid, guidance on injuries, and on-going safety support for Amazon Associates on site.

You’ll administer first aid, coordinate referrals, and participate in safety committees, case reviews, and training; the role requires BLS and EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials, with flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider; AND must have EMT or Paramedic Certification.
• Current active Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or state).

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through awareness and coaching.
• Maintain all care records for Associates (AAs).
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for AAs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with AAs and leadership on the operations floor for safety coaching.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean workspace.
• Assist with first aid, CPR and AED training certifications.
• Maintain credentials for first aid, CPR, AED.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response and care delivery on site.
