Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support the Workplace Health & Safety team at the Schertz, TX site. You will perform first aid, refer to providers, and help manage incident records and workers’ compensation, while aligning with safety procedures. You will attend safety meetings and assist with on-site training and emergency response.

Flex shifts may be required. Required are a high school diploma and a current BLS credential plus EMT/Paramedic/NREMT or Athletic Trainer

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider; AND must have one of EMT, Paramedic, or NREMT credentials.
• Current Active Athletic Trainer Certification by BOC or State Certification.
• Preferred: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with industrial wellness and OSHA/Workers’ Compensation.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all care records for Amazons Associates (AAs).
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs for AAs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with leadership on the floor to coach safe work habits.
• Maintain clean environment and medical supply inventory.
• Participate in first aid/CPR/AED training and maintain credentials.
• Support with variable shifts including nights, holidays, weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response on-site as needed.
