Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to support Workplace Health & Safety at a Charlotte, NC site. You will assess and administer first aid, guide associates on injuries, refer to outside providers, and learn OSHA regulations.

You will participate in safety committee meetings, maintain care records, and support workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs, with duties including training and credential maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer credentials preferred.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain care records for associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and shift reports.
• Coach leadership on safe work habits and ergonomics.
• Maintain medical supplies and a clean environment.
• Facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED training and credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Assist emergency response on site.
