Job summary

Amazon's Workplace Health & Safety team seeks an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR) to provide first aid, guide associates on injuries, and refer care to providers as needed. You will support safety operations, maintain records, and participate in training to keep credentials current.

This role requires flexible shifts and on-site presence at the York PA site. You will help reduce injury risk, engage with leadership on floor safety, and support workers' compensation processes while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Current valid BLS certification.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification from DOH or NREMT; OR Athletic Trainer Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and refer to outside providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and coaching on safety.
• Maintain care records for associates.
• Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work for injuries.
• Maintain daily activity logs and shift-end reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership to coach on safe work habits.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Participate in first aid, CPR, and AED training.
• Keep first aid, CPR, AED credentials current.
• Work flexible shifts including days/nights/holidays/weekends.
• Assist with saliva drug testing protocols.
• Manage emergencies and support site emergency response.
