Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative in Concord, NC to provide first aid, assess injuries, and guide associates on health and safety. You will work with the WHS team and participate in safety meetings, referrals to providers, and maintain records.

This role requires BLS, EMT/Paramedic or Athletic Trainer certs, ability to lift up to 49 lbs, and experience with OSHA and workers' compensation. The job may include days/nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• BLS certification and emergency care credentials (EMT or Paramedic) or Athletic Trainer certification.
• Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program.
• Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.
• Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
• Proficient in digital recordkeeping.
• Military combat medic/field medic experience within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize AA risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with associates and leadership to coach on at-risk work habits.
