Prescott’s Med in Monument, CO is hiring a Painter to finish medical equipment to meet safety and quality standards. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, apply coatings, inspect results, and maintain clean, organized work areas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2+ years painting experience.
• Knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparation.
• Ability to work with spray paint guns and painting equipment.
• Experience painting medical supply parts is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to identify imperfections and ensure quality control.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and handling of hazardous materials.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
• Mix paint and other materials according to specifications.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring even and thorough coverage.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring they meet company standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure proper handling of materials and equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working with chemical substances.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Create production plans and deliver in team meetings.
• Maintain inventory of painting materials and notify supervisors of any shortages.
• Perform maintenance on painting equipment as needed.
• Document work performed and report any issues to management.
