Prescott’s Med in Monument, CO is seeking a skilled Painter to finish medical equipment and supplies to meet safety and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail and craftsmanship, with responsibilities including surface preparation, paint application, and quality inspection.

The position is onsite at our Monument facility, with a focus on teamwork, safety protocols, and efficient project delivery. Pay rate is $24.04 per hour, plus a benefits package as outlined.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2+ years of painting experience or similar role.
• Knowledge of paint application techniques and surface preparation.
• Experience with spray paint guns and related tools.
• Experience painting medical supply parts is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to identify imperfections and ensure quality control of painted surfaces.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and handling of hazardous materials.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
• Mix paint and other materials according to specifications.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, ensuring even coverage.
• Inspect painted surfaces for quality, ensuring they meet standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and handle materials safely.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with chemicals.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Create production plans and deliver in team meetings.
• Maintain inventory of painting materials and notify supervisors of shortages.
• Perform maintenance on painting equipment as needed.
• Document work performed and report issues to management.
