Job summary

Pinecrest Health Care is seeking a full-time Painter to professionally finish interior and exterior surfaces. The role involves measuring areas, selecting paints, preparing surfaces, masking, and applying finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and more.

The position emphasizes safety, proper disposal, and keeping the work area clean, with potential for temporary status. Prior apprenticeship or on-the-job training is expected to support accurate, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Formal apprenticeship, previous experience, or on-the-job training required.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and PPE.
• Experience finishing interior and exterior surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Measures area to be painted; determines quantity and type of paint to use for the project.
• Identifies and orders appropriate paint colors and finishes, mixing if needed.
• Prepares surfaces; removes prior finishes as needed.
• Masks and protects furniture, hardware, trim and non-painted surfaces.
• Applies paint to interior and exterior surfaces with brushes, rollers, sprayers, or airbrushes.
• Performs basic stencil and line work.
