Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Mechanical/Hardware Engineer to design mechanical and thermal hardware, electronics enclosures, and production tooling. You will implement test plans to validate tolerances, EMI, safety, and acoustics, and work with internal and outsourced partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective product solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering and 0–2 years of experience, with familiarity in CAD tooling and thermal design.

Qualifications

• Experience with ProEngineer or similar 3D CAD tools for mechanical design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of sheet metal and plastic part design and tooling.
• Understanding of thermal properties and heat transfer.

Responsibilities

• Designs portions of engineering solutions for mechanical/thermal hardware and tooling.
• Implements test plans including tolerances, form/fit/function, shock/vibration, EMI, safety and acoustics.
• Collaborates with internal and external development partners on mechanical/thermal design.
• Works with project teams to develop reliable, cost-effective solutions for low to moderately complex products.
