RTX is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II for the Air Defense Ground Equipment group in MA. The role focuses on mechanical design, development, and integration of defense platform systems, including radar shelters and interconnects.

On-site in Tewksbury/Andover, you’ll model components, perform design changes, and ensure release to production. Responsibilities include cross-functional teamwork, design reviews, and mentoring junior engineers while delivering on schedule and cost commitments.

Competenze

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers to develop robust design solutions and resolve technical challenges.
• Experience participating in design reviews, driving action-item closure, and conducting engineering trade studies.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage engineering tasks and deliver against technical, schedule, and cost commitments.
