RTX seeks a Senior Materials & Process Engineering Program Lead in Tucson, AZ to drive materials design and development for missile hardware and coordinate M&PE resources to meet program milestones and costs. The ideal candidate has a university degree with 5+ years of experience, strong materials characterization knowledge, and the ability to present data to large audiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years experience
• Experience solving materials problems and improving processes
• Experience with mechanical testing and/or chemical analysis methods

Responsabilités

• Support program reviews and gate/board meetings (MRB/CCB/PCB/ERB/PMCB)
• Align MPE positions with program deliverables and One Voice
• Manage workload to meet schedule and program commitments
• Lead trade studies on materials, properties, and processes; document justifications
• Ensure labor costs and schedules from MPE are understood and meet commitments
• Mentor early career engineers; participate in failure investigations
• Support proposals with MPE tasks
• Present technical data to large technical audiences
