Aston Carter is seeking a Production Buyer/Planner for Bethlehem, PA to support material planning, purchasing, and inventory management in a growing manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes building scalable processes and refining planning systems as production expands.

The candidate should have strong ERP experience (Sage preferred; SAP/Oracle acceptable) and advanced Excel skills, with a focus on reducing shortages and improving supply chain performance.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food manufacturing and import logistics is beneficial.
• Background in inventory analysis and supporting inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Experience supporting business growth and process improvements in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to adapt to growth and operational change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and manage material requirements using MRP tools and ERP systems.
• Run, review, and correct MRP outputs, applying planning logic and inventory impacts.
• Manage purchasing activities for raw materials and packaging, including placing orders and monitoring deliveries.
• Analyze inventory levels, perform inventory analysis, and support initiatives to improve inventory accuracy.
• Create, document, and improve SOPs to support a growing manufacturing operation.
• Monitor supply levels and proactively prevent material shortages affecting production schedules.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, accounting, and suppliers for on-time material availability.
• Utilize Excel reporting tools including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables to support planning decisions.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for scalability and growth.
