Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Materials Buyer/Planner to support material planning, purchasing, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment. The role ensures materials are available to meet production requirements while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in materials planning in manufacturing, strong MRP/ERP knowledge, PO management, supplier coordination, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in materials planning, purchasing, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of material requirements planning, inventory management, and lead times.
• Experience with PO management and supplier coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage material planning and purchasing to support production requirements.
• Run and review MRP, convert needs into purchase orders.
• Plan and schedule purchased materials based on production demand and inventory needs.
• Monitor material availability and address shortages or disruptions.
• Maintain ERP data for material planning and purchasing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient material flow.
