Job summary

Talentify is seeking a highly organized Production Buyer/Planner to support material planning, purchasing, and inventory management in a fast-growing manufacturing environment in Allentown, PA. The role emphasizes optimizing MRP outputs, maintaining supplier relationships, and driving SOP improvements to scale operations.

You will work closely with production, warehouse, and accounting teams, leveraging Sage, SAP, or Oracle ERP systems and advanced Excel skills to ensure material availability

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food manufacturing and import logistics is beneficial.
• Background in inventory analysis and supporting inventory accuracy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements using MRP tools and ERP systems.
• Run and correct MRP outputs with solid planning logic.
• Manage purchasing for raw materials and packaging and maintain supplier relationships.
• Analyze inventory levels and support inventory accuracy improvements.
• Create and improve SOPs to support rapid growth and consistency.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, accounting and suppliers to ensure on-time material availability.
• Utilize advanced Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to support planning decisions.
