Job summary

Mercury Marine, a world-leading marine propulsion manufacturer, is seeking an on-site service technician located at Disney property in Lake Buena Vista, FL. You will service Mercury engines, diagnose performance issues, and ensure boats are ready for rental operations.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of hands-on experience with outboards and rigging, strong customer service and computer literacy, and the ability to work weekend shifts with a 5-day schedule. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2–4 years servicing outboards, stern drives, rigging, and boat repair preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and repair marine engines, drive, rigging, controls.
• Computer literacy and experience with MS Word/Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Receive requests from Marina staff in person, over the phone, or via email and prioritize needs.
• Provide on-site marine service at customer locations.
• Dockside or maintenance facility service.
• Work under tight deadlines to ensure boats are ready at rental time.
• Diagnose engine performance, rigging, controls, and gauges using test equipment and laptop diagnostic software.
• Provide maintenance services to Mercury products and related boat hardware to factory specifications.
• Keep detailed service logs.
• Safely operate equipment to perform boat and engine rigging, de-rigging, and launching/removal.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Work weekend days as part of a 5-day schedule and rotate days off as needed.
