Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Facilities and Maintenance Manager (onsite) to lead facilities and maintenance across a manufacturing site in Jacksonville, FL. You will drive reliability, safety and compliance of equipment, utilities and infrastructure while guiding capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree or equivalent experience; minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Experience with PLC controls electrical schematics; familiarity with autoclaves and high pressure boilers.
• 7+ years of maintenance or facilities management in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and building systems.
• Familiarity with CMMS and maintenance planning processes.
• Experience leading teams and managing budgets.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop facilities and maintenance teams of technicians, contractors and service providers.
• Plan and manage preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Oversee building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, grounds).
• Ensure safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance of equipment and utilities.
• Manage capital improvement projects and equipment installations.
• Develop budgets and manage costs for maintenance and capital projects.
