Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Athens, GA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team onsite.

The role maintains and improves manufacturing processes, tooling, and systems, split roughly 50/50 between the office and the shop floor within a 30-person engineering group. You will partner with assembly, quality, logistics, and supply chain to analyze processes, design tooling, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, processes and Lean principles.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of manufacturing processes to support decisions.
• Design and direct tooling acquisition, fabrication and repair.
• Troubleshoot and implement process improvements.
• Maintain bills of material and work orders.
• Collaborate with assembly, quality, logistics, and supply chain.
• Provide coaching in absence of team leader.
• Lead process improvements and respond to customer issues.
