Diversified Services Network, Inc. in Athens, GA is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Engineer to join our team on-site. You will help maintain and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and systems, splitting time between the office and shop floor as part of a 30-person engineering team.

The role targets early-career engineers with opportunity to grow, collaborating with assembly operations, quality, logistics, and supply chain to drive improvements and safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of manufacturing processes to support decisions.
• Design and direct the acquisition, fabrication, and repair of tooling and machines.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day process issues and monitor improvements.
• Monitor exchange and in-house requirements for production.
• Procure material related to manufacturing improvements via suppliers.
• Perform quality checks on machines.
• Analyze and deploy engineering change notices.
• Establish and maintain bills of material and work orders.
• Respond to customer issues and lead process improvements.
• Provide day-to-day coaching in the absence of the team leader.
