Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician III to improve manufacturing equipment, fabrication processes, and safety systems to support sustaining and growth efforts. You will influence tooling, equipment reliability, and new product introductions while collaborating with engineering, operations, and facilities teams.

This onsite, first-shift role (6:00am–4:30pm) requires 5–7 years of experience, strong MIG/TIG welding and sheet metal skills, and the ability to read schematics

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience maintaining factory/machine shop equipment is highly needed.
• Proficient in MIG/TIG welding and sheet metal work.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, high-pressure gas, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and create schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve engineering solutions for manufacturing products.
• Create, upgrade, maintain production tools and equipment.
• Analyze issues and implement solutions using established procedures.
• Exchange technical information clearly with stakeholders.
• Support facilities and equipment maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety policies and meet objectives and deadlines.
• Maintain records and adapt to variable hours as needed.
