Job summary
Hologic is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician 3 on first shift to support manufacturing and engineering by identifying and troubleshooting process, material, or equipment issues. The role involves developing, assembling, procuring, and modifying tooling and fixtures to ensure efficient production methods and support manufacturing operations.
You will mentor technicians, document results, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certificate in Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Software Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Five years of related experience or equivalent.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience maintaining and calibrating production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, test, calibrate, and repair production equipment.
- Document test and repair results with Operations and Engineering teams.
- Provide emergency and preventive maintenance of production equipment.
- Train technicians on maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Supervise the Manufacturing Engineering Lab.
