Job summary

NextDeavor is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician III to improve manufacturing equipment, fabrication processes, and safety systems to support sustaining and growth efforts. You will influence tooling, equipment reliability, and new product introductions while collaborating with engineering, operations, and facilities teams.

This onsite, first-shift role (6:00am–4:30pm) requires 5–7 years of experience, strong MIG/TIG welding and sheet metal skills, and the ability to read schematics

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience maintaining factory/machine shop equipment is highly needed.
• Proficient in MIG/TIG welding and sheet metal work.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, high-pressure gas, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and create schematics and blueprints.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Become a Key Player as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician III

You will help improve manufacturing equipment, fabrication processes, and safety systems to support sustaining and growth efforts. Your work will impact production tooling, equipment reliability, and new product introductions while collaborating with engineering, operations, and facilities teams. This is an onsite role working first shift, Monday–Friday with flexible start times (6:00am–4:30pm window).

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team

• Provide expertise to develop and improve engineering solutions for manufacturing new and existing products
• Create, upgrade, monitor, and maintain production tools, equipment, and limited infrastructure
• Use established procedures to analyze issues, make judgments, and implement solutions
• Exchange technical information clearly and verify understanding with stakeholders
• Support facilities and equipment maintenance as needed
• Work within standardized procedures, requirements, and safety policies to meet objectives and deadlines
• Maintain organized records of work performed and exercise independent judgment on matters of significance
• Be available for occasional nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary

Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience
• Factory / machine shop equipment maintenance experience (high need)
• Advanced fabrication and assembly skills including MIG/TIG welding and sheet metal work
• Advanced knowledge of industrial systems: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, high-pressure compressed gas, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to identify problems, formulate solutions, and execute them
• Ability to create and maintain project timelines, priorities, and goals
• Able to read, follow, and create documents, schematics, and blueprints
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience in a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent
