Job summary

System One in Leetsdale, PA is seeking an assembler to join our onsite team. You will assemble finished products, inspect materials, and reference engineering drawings while setting up hydraulic and hand presses.

Use power tools and hand tools to complete assemblies, inspect quality, and assist with related tasks such as washing and testing. You must have a high school diploma or GED, with prior assembly experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished products and inspect materials for compliance with manufacturing specs, referencing work instructions, work orders, sketches, and engineering drawings.
• Set up and run hydraulic and hand presses.
• Operate hand tools and power tools (pneumatic torque wrenches, screwdrivers, electric drills), taps, and adhesives for assembling, wiring, cleaning, rustproofing, and handling filters and components.
• Inspect completed assemblies/products to confirm they meet all quality specifications.
• Assist with related tasks such as washing, testing, and repairs as needed.
• Cross-train across various tasks within the department.
• Use internal computer systems to check inventory, pull up engineering drawings, monitor work order status, and complete other production-related transactions.
• Disassemble returned filters for credit processing, as required.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Available to work overtime when required.
