Job summary

System One is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Cranberry Twp, PA for a contract-to-hire, onsite role paying $21-22/hour. You will build industrial equipment by following drawings and work instructions and gain exposure to basic electrical tasks within a manufacturing setting.

You will use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment, interpret drawings, measure parts, and ensure assemblies meet specifications while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in mechanical assembly or industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to operate common hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using tape measures and standard measuring devices.
• Ability to lift and handle components typical of manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in production machinery.
• Assemble using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment such as drill presses.
• Interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Measure, cut, and align parts using standard measuring tools.
• Perform basic electrical-related assembly tasks when required.
• Inspect completed assemblies to ensure proper fit and function.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures.
